Striker Gavin Tomlin could return for Dagenham & Redbridge after recovering from a back injury.
Midfielder Stuart Thurgood (knee) is a long-term absentee whilst fellow midfielder Conor Okus will not feature.
Dagenham & Redbridge boss John Still told BBC Essex: "In terms of performances I've not been disappointed if I'm honest.
"Saturday's game gives us a fantastic opportunity because it's a home game, we'll be looking to maximise that.
"The players are in great spirits, they've enjoyed the games they've played."
Tranmere manager Les Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside: "Some players find it difficult playing at home and they can relax a little more when they're away. The level of expectation is lower and they perform at a higher level.
"[Dagenham's] level of expectation, with it being the first home game in this division, is going to be massive. Let's hope that affects their players a little bit."
