Walsall are hoping that captain Darren Byfield will return from a knee injury that has kept him out for a month.
Winger Steve Jones came on as a late substitute in the 2-1 win against Exeter last week and could be in contention to start.
Walsall manager Chris Hutchings told BBC WM:"It doesn't seem to matter where you are in the league, if you win a game, you can go up three or four places straight away.
"You go on a run of two or three games and you can shoot up the table, which is our main aim now.
"You can have all the ability in the world but, if you don't have the right desire and attitude to prove that you're better than the opposition, it's wasted talent."
