Cooper to keep the faith
Hartlepool boss Colin Cooper could name an unchanged starting line-up against Dagenham.
Cooper has no new injury or suspension worries as his side look to bounce back to winning ways after their five-match winning run was halted by defeat at Scunthorpe last week.
Winger Jack Compton misses out again as he serves the final game of his three-match ban, with the only injury absentee being teenage defender Dan Jones following knee surgery.
Antony Sweeney is hoping to make his first start since August but may have to be patient, while utility-man Jordan Richards and defenders Sam Collins and Darren Holden are also in contention.
Wayne Burnett will be hard pushed to make any changes to his Dagenham side.
Burnett watched the Daggers triumph 3-1 last weekend over high-flying Rochdale, who had won eight of their previous nine fixtures going into the encounter.
Right-back Gavin Hoyte returned from suspension in place of Luke Wilkinson, who was rested due to a shoulder injury but is fit to face the Pools.
Matt Saunders (back) pulled out of an Essex Senior Cup tie in midweek and is unavailable although he has made just one substitute appearance in the league this season.
