Gavin Tomlin fired the Daggers into an early lead before Argyle skipper Craig Noone levelled midway through the second-half. Rory Patterson swept home the winner for Peter Reid's men seven minutes from time to seal a crucial three points.
Still said: "I thought we were the best team for long periods and at 1-0 we could have gone on to score two or three.
"But that is the way football is and it is difficult for us, but that performance was a winning performance on any other occasion.
"I think it shows that in the last few games whoever we have played against, we have competed.
"I think if we can keep playing like that it gives us the confidence that we can go and win a few games."
