Dagenham boss John Still was left bemoaning the nature in which his side were cruelly denied all three points against Hartlepool rather than the 1-1 draw itself. The Daggers looked to be heading for victory courtesy of Peter Hartley`s 49th-minute own goal. But in the fifth minute of injury time it was left for Mark Arber to deflect the ball past a stranded Tony Roberts to ensure it ended all square at Victoria Road. Still said: "I'm very disappointed. If I'm honest I think a draw was a fair result, but the nature of it is disappointing. Once again, our naivety came into it. "There were too many balls going through to their goalkeeper. The only person we didn't want to get the ball was their goalkeeper because, with the greatest respect, they're like the land of the giants. "We knew that would be a problem, we really did, and we dealt with it quite well. "Then at the death there was a deflection to go in, but I'm not moaning about that. A draw was a fair result, but disappointing in the circumstances."
