Dagenham boss John Still was delighted with the spirited second-half fightback against Rochdale, but conceded his team were second best on the day. Dale raced into a three-goal lead courtesy of goals from Chris O`Grady, Anthony Elding and Gary Jones, and looked comfortable until Dagenham pulled a couple of goals back through Damian Scannell and Mark Arber to set up a nervy finish. Still said: "We had Rochdale watched in their last two games when they played 4-1-4-1 and we set ourselves up for that, but they changed their system and played some really good football. "Their movement was clever and we couldn't come to terms with it in the first half so we changed things round at the break and I think that put us in the ascendancy. "The crucial goal was Rochdale's third, but when we got that second I honestly thought we could again. They were better in the first half and we were better in the second - just not good enough."
