Dagenham & Redbridge gained revenge for their early season cConference mauling with a comfortable victory at Accrington.

Stanley boss John Coleman welcomed backed the injured trio of Peter Cavanagh, Ged Brannan and Mike Flynn, but their presence in a side full of confidence following last week's mauling of Leigh RMI failed to prevent his side going down to three second-half goals.

Lee Goodwin opened the scoring for the visitors just after the break, heading home a corner from Paul Bruce.

Chris Moore finished from just inside the box to make it two for Dagenham and when substitute Matt Harold made it three after 64 minutes, there was to be no come back for the home side.

Despite enjoying a large percentage of possession, Stanley failed to find a way past keeper Tony Roberts despite Steve Jagielka and Lee McEvilly going close.
