Unbelievable is the only word to describe this record-equalling 9-0 win by Hereford at ten-man Dagenham, although you got the feeling that Danny Shipp's early sending off made no difference at all.
The dismissal came in the 15th minute for a foul on Ryan Green and Tony James stepped up to the spot to send home keeper Tony Roberts the wrong way to begin the rout.
The Daggers were then given a lifeline when the assistant referee's flag ruled out a David Brown effort, but despite controlling long periods of the first half the home side just could not make their chances count.
The Bulls then extended their lead as Brown sneaked the ball in at the far post after Steve Guinan had taken Ashley Vickers out of the game and provided a perfect centre.
It was game over just before the break when Michael Rose crossed for Guinan to loft the ball over Roberts.
Hereford had more to say as the second half began when a brilliantly worked free-kick from Rose was hammered home by Guinan, for his second of the match.
Brown looked as though he was going to make it five when he chipped the ball over the on-rushing Roberts, but Paul Bruce got back to head off the line.
From the resulting corner Brown made no mistake as he belted home at the far post.
Danny Williams then made an instant impact coming off the bench to score a wonder-goal as he bent the ball into the top corner of the net from 25 yards out on the left wing.
Still the goals came as Rose whipped in a corner in for Mark Beesley to slot home at the far post.
Williams then stormed through the middle of the park to make it eight, before Brown wrapped up his hat-trick, slipping the ball past the keeper to end this debacle of a display from the Daggers.
