Dagenham & Redbridge shocked Leyton Orient 4-1 at the Glyn Hopkins Stadium.
True to form the Daggers started out well against their higher league opponents.
Alex Meechan went close twice for the Daggers in the first half before getting on the goal trail in the second period.
Four minutes after the break Tarkan Mustafa crossed in from the right and Meechan held off his marker to flick the ball over his head and into the path of Mark Bentley. The Daggers' top scorer then nodded down into the O's net past a flailing Lee Harrison.
It was 2-0 minutes later as the Daggers extended their lead in the 56th minute. Bentley picked up the ball in his own half and stormed through before passing to Meechan. He then set up Tony Scully, who capped a superb performance with a shot which flew past Harrison and into the back of the net.
Nine minutes later and it was three as Leon Braithwaite nodded home from Bentley's cross to continue the goalscoring rout.
But Bentley refused to sit back and put the Daggers further ahead four minutes later with a shot from outside the area.
At the other end a handball from Bentley in the area gave the O's a penalty and Matt Lockwood stepped up to take it and coolly blasted home.
But this was little consolation for the O's travelling faithful, who had started to disappear with ten minutes to go.
