It's five wins on the bounce for York City as two late goals ensured that they continued their challenge for the play-offs with a victory over injury-hit Dagenham & Redbridge.
With a certain Champions League tie being played at the same time and a constant drizzle throughout, those fans who decided to stay away from the Glyn Hopkin Stadium probably made the right decision in what was a poor game until the latter stages.
York certainly had the better of the opening stages and it looked like they would probably rue the missed opportunities granted to them by a lacklustre Dagenham rearguard.
Clayton Donaldson was the guilty party in not punishing the Daggers early. The centre forward had three clear-cut chances to open the scoring but failed with each and every one.
The clearest opportunity came after a quarter an hour after the home side lost possession on the edge of the area. Donaldson, however, was unable to force his toe-poked effort towards goal.
Later on in the half a long ball from Chris Porter released Donaldson, who then dragged his shot horribly wide with only Tony Roberts to beat.
The Daggers' best opportunity in the first half also came via a long ball. Craig Mackail-Smith latched on to the loose ball but his volley from the edge of the area bounced just wide of the target.
The second half wasn't much better and the game only really came to life in the last 10 minutes.
Donaldson atoned for his earlier misses as he scored York's first goal after 86 minutes. The striker latched on to a low pass from Andy Bishop to score past Roberts with a first-time shot.
The Daggers tried to force an equaliser and substitute Chris Moore almost scored with a free-kick that flew narrowly over the crossbar.
Instead the home side were caught on the break and conceded a second goal with virtually the last kick of the game.
Donaldson returned the favour as he set up his strike partner Bishop who found the bottom corner of the net with an expert finish.
