Dagenham & Redbridge and Canvey Island shared four goals in this Essex derby in the Nationwide Conference.
This could be Canvey's last game at the home of the Daggers, if reports that they are resigning from the Conference prove to be true.
They almost marked it with a win, having led up until the 82nd minute where the home side equalised from the penalty spot.
As seems to be the pattern in recent games at the Glyn Hopkin Stadium the visitors burst into a nearly lead.
Canvey certainly benefited from some charitable Dagenham defending and Daggers boss John Still would probably have thought both goals should have been avoided.
The first goal came from a low Mario Noto that the home side let roll across the face of the six-yard box, allowing Jason Hallett to score what surely will have been one of his easiest strikes this season.
The second came about in similar circumstances. Another low cross, this time from Jon Keeling, evaded the Daggers defence. Once again it fell to Hallett, who smacked the ball home from a couple of yards out.
Dagenham got a goal back almost immediately after Hallett's strike.
Chris Moore, recalled to the side after missing out on the weekend, showed tremendous skill by twisting and turning in the area before applying a left-footed finish that found the bottom corner.
The home side pushed forward in the second half but found it difficult to carve out a real good opening on a difficult hard pitch.
John Still's side huffed and puffed and eventually blew the Canvey defence down, but they needed the benefit of a referee's decision before finding the equaliser.
Referee Mr McDermid decided that Jay Conroy had handled in the area. Moore confidently converted the spot-kick as he sent Danny Potter the wrong way.
Moore also thought he might have won the game in the final minutes as he found the back of the net with a header, only for his effort to be ruled out for what appeared to be pushing in the area.
