Dagenham & Redbridge finished their home campaign with a 3-0 win over fellow mid-table side Kidderminster Harriers.
It was a fine spring afternoon at the Glyn Hopkin Stadium and the home side certainly enjoyed their final home game of the season as they strolled to an easy win.
The Daggers had to overcome an early setback at losing their captain Tim Cole, who had to leave the field after just eight minutes after twisting his ankle.
The loss of Cole didn't affect the home side too much as they rattled in three goals before the break.
The first goal came just after the half hour mark. Sam Saunders rifled in a volley which may have taken a touch off Daryl Burgess but the end result was the ball ending up in the bottom corner.
Dagenham's two strikers, Paul Benson and Chris Moore, both had a hand in the next two goals.
Firstly it was Benson breaking clear on the right before crossing low for Craig Mackail-Smith who scored from close range.
Mackail-Smith was again the beneficiary for the third goal. This time it was Moore who provided the low cross and Mackail-Smith gleefully accepted the invite to notch his second of the afternoon.
Kidderminster had a couple of chances to make a game of it in the second half.
Without a doubt their best chance from the penalty spot after Saunders had brought down by Michael Blackwood.
Daggers keeper Tony Roberts was determined to keep a clean sheet though and he made a fine save to thwart Jon Newby.
Roberts had earlier made a good stop to prevent Gareth Sheldon from scoring with a right-footed attempt from the edge of the area.
In the end Kidderminster failed to breach Roberts' goal and the Daggers were able to comfortably see out the rest of the 90 minutes which gave their home fans one final cheer before the end of the season.
