A disappointing match saw these mid-table teams battle out a 0-0 draw and the end result was as about as good as it was going to get once the initial sparkle had petered out.
Glenn Cockerill believes his Woking team deserved more than a point whilst his Dagenham counterpart John Still thought his side had the edge.
"I thought we had the better opportunities I thought we should have won it so I'm disappointed we didn't take all three points," said Still.
"He would say that," said Cockerill. "It was similar to the Crawley game. We had a lot of the ball controlled the game but couldn't find the net. Teams are coming here and slowing it down and getting men behind the ball. We have got to be better at opening them up."
Woking started brightly and had a couple of long range efforts that flew wide but they were lucky that referee Paul Gibbs blew for a free kick when had he played an advantage Daggers striker Craig Mackail-Smith was in on goal inside the 18-yard box.
Dagenham came more into the match in the second half and came closet when an overhead kick from skipper Tim Cole was brilliantly saved by Cards keeper Shwan Jalal at his near post.
Glen Southam looked the most threatening Daggers performer as the match wore on, while Chris Moore and Mackail-Smith were always a threat.
But it ended in a damp squib with the final whistle the only really highlight of the second half so that people could get home early to start there new years celebrations.
